Support the PR and influencer marketing team at MMPR through influencer list building, sample trafficking, event coordination, trend research, and assisting with campaign execution for beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands.
Tasks:
Intern tasks will include conducting influencer and media research, building targeted outreach lists, assisting with gifting logistics and product trafficking, drafting and organizing professional communications, supporting event planning and on-site execution, monitoring social coverage, compiling analytics, and maintaining internal trackers. These duties provide hands-on experience with PR and influencer workflows and allow students to demonstrate competency in organization, communication, strategic thinking, and campaign execution.
Training:
Training provides interns with a solid foundation in PR and influencer marketing through a mix of shadowing, guided instruction, and hands-on practice. Interns learn MMPR’s core workflows, including influencer research, list building, gifting logistics, event preparation, professional communication, and tracking coverage. Throughout the program, interns receive ongoing feedback and support from the team to help build confidence, strengthen organizational skills, and understand how campaigns come to life from start to finish.
Learning Outcome:
Develop a strong understanding of influencer marketing workflows, including list building, outreach, tracking, and reporting.
Strengthen organizational and project-management skills by supporting gifting programs, product trafficking, and event preparation.
Learn how to communicate professionally with clients, influencers, and vendors through email drafting, follow-ups, and cross-team coordination.
Gain hands-on experience assisting with events and activations, from pre-production planning to onsite support.
Improve data tracking and analytics skills by monitoring posts, gathering metrics, and learning how performance ties back to campaign goals.
