Our Advisory team is seeking interns for our Los Angeles Office located in Torrance, CA. Our interns will assist in preparation of individual tax returns.

Qualifications:

- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting or other relevant field
- Actively pursuing school credits to become a CPA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to follow instructions as directed
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment and handle multiple projects/tasks with an attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse personalities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to respond tactfully and professionally in high demand situations

Tasks:

Engage in entry-level accounting functions such as organizing financial data and verifying transaction accuracy, while gaining exposure to tax documentation workflows and financial reporting procedures.

Training:

On the job trainings on a regular basis

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to familiarize him/herself with how to assist the preparation of income and local tax returns and financial statements.
