Opportunity Summary 

The Victim Intervention Program (VIP) supports survivors of domestic violence and intimate partner violence (DV/IPV) through trauma-informed, wraparound services. We're seeking compassionate, motivated student volunteers and interns to join our team.

Tasks:

Assist with case management and client intake.
Support housing navigation and applications.
Co-facilitate support groups and psychoeducation.
Participate in community outreach and awareness campaigns.

Training:

Orientation followed by shadowing a case manager to gain experience in the areas below. Weekly supervision & mentoring.
Domestic violence education
Confidentiality & ethics training
Safety planning & crisis response

Learning Outcome:

Hands-on experience with vulnerable populations.
Exposure to trauma-informed, client-centered care.
Professional development in advocacy, housing, and legal systems.
