Opportunity Summary 

The Intern position at Reliant Capital, LLC supports the company’s mission to deliver exceptional financing experiences by owning critical functions of deal execution, vendor and customer relationships, risk assessment, compliance adherence, and operational excellence. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented, team-centric individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and contributes to scaling Reliant’s market presence and portfolio performance.

Tasks:

1. Deal Origination & Support

Assist in the intake and processing of equipment financing applications.

Collaborate with vendors and internal partners to clarify program options and documentation requirements.

Ensure accurate and timely submission of quotes, proposals, and offer letters.

Maintain strong communication with applicants throughout the underwriting and approval process.

2. Underwriting & Risk Assessment

Analyze credit profiles, financial statements, and other underwriting data for credit decision support.

Follow established guidelines to assess risk and recommend appropriate financing structures.

Prepare underwriting memos and findings for internal review.

Monitor and escalate any risk or compliance concerns.

3. Vendor & Partner Relationship Management

Serve as a key point of contact for vendor partners (e.g., equipment manufacturers, dealers).

Support co-branded marketing efforts, joint promotions, and event sponsorships.

Provide vendor training and collateral to enhance partner understanding of Reliant’s offerings.

Track vendor performance metrics and feedback.

4. Customer Service & Client Experience

Provide exceptional service to applicants, answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.

Communicate financing terms, payment schedules, and logistics clearly and professionally.

Coordinate funding, documentation execution, and delivery to clients.

5. Compliance, Documentation & Operations

Support preparation and review of legal documentation, contracts, disclosures, and compliance filings.

Ensure accurate record keeping and adherence to internal controls.

Collaborate with compliance teams to fulfill audit and regulatory requirements.

Assist with portfolio administration and reporting.

6. Sales Enablement & Marketing Support

Partner with internal marketing to develop co-branded materials, product sheets, and campaigns.

Support attendance and planning of industry trade shows, vendor events, and educational workshops.

Track performance analytics of programs and campaigns.

Training:

Product & Program Training

Goal: Ensure deep product knowledge so sales reps can confidently position, explain, and sell Reliant’s solutions.

Covers:

Equipment financing programs (terms, structures, deferrals, incentives)

Key differentiators (speed, prefunding before shipping, automated decisioning)

Eligible industries (healthcare, med-spa, dental, specialty practices)

Example scenarios and common use cases

Pricing structures and how rates/terms are determined. Learn to read credit and tax returns. Learn to use Tval and run amortization schedules.

Live hands on training, making calls to customers and vendors daily
