Behavioral TechnicianAt — Maxim Healthcare Services

Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a Behavioral Technician to work one-one-one children and/or adults with autism spectrum disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges.

Tasks:

Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors
Document child progress and milestones
Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts

Training:

Training includes initial orientation, completing 40HR Registered Behavior Technician Training, 10HR Company Compliance & Policy Training, Field Shadows with a minimum of 4 skilled trainers, weekly 2HR overlap with a midlevel supervisor or a BCBA.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to implement Behavior Intervention Plans, Collect and Record Client Data, Apply ABA Teaching Strategies, Maintain Professional and Ethical Standards.
