Opportunity Summary 

** CST462 Students Only **

Supports instructors and participants during digital literacy classes and workshops. This role focuses on assisting community members—especially seniors and first-time computer users—with basic technology skills in a patient, respectful, and encouraging manner. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist instructors during digital literacy workshops and classes
  • Provide one-on-one support to participants using computers, tablets, or smartphones
  • Help participants practice basic skills such as email, internet browsing, job searches, and online safety
  • Set up and break down classroom materials and equipment
  • Encourage and support learners at their own pace
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Hours

  • Flexible
  • Workshops typically scheduled Tuesday–Saturday
  • Workshops typically held 11 am - 1pm or 4 pm - 8pm
