Tasks:

Collecting data from phone calls
Purchasing flights and travel costs for patients
Faxing paper work to clinicians
prepping operations team for admission
note taking from calls throughout the day from interventions

Training:

Client will listen to live intervention calls
Collect history of mental health issues
Collect history of substance abuse issues
Shadowing intervention specialists
Data management
How to work with clinicians and provide appropriate information

Learning Outcome:

Student will have full knowledge of how the admissions process works in a mental health and substance abuse facility.
