Opportunity Summary 

As a Content & Community Intern, you will help strengthen La Marquesilla’s brand presence through meaningful community engagement and relationship-building. Your role will include: - Supporting community engagement by responding to comments and messages using approved templates and brand tone - Assisting in creating weekly “community touchpoints” such as polls, Q&A prompts, and Story engagement tools - Supporting outreach to Christian creators, micro-influencers, and community partnerships for potential collaborations - Assisting with identifying and nurturing online community trends and needs (questions, common requests, popular content) - Helping brainstorm and support small online campaigns that encourage engagement and build community (giveaways, prayer prompts, and Bible verse quote content) - Participating in in-person meetings and content shoots to support behind-the-scenes and community content creation Tools you will use: Canva Pro, Asana, Meta Business Suite, & Google Workspace

About the Role La Marquesilla is seeking a warm, proactive Content & Community Intern to strengthen our brand presence through meaningful community engagement and relationship-building. This role is ideal for a college student in the San Diego area pursuing academic credit who is passionate about faith-centered connection, thoughtful communication, and supporting a purpose-driven brand rooted in modesty, sustainability, philanthropy, and transparency. What You’ll Be Doing - Support community engagement by responding to comments and messages using approved templates and brand tone - Assist in creating weekly “community touchpoints” such as polls, Q&A prompts, and Story engagement tools - Support outreach to Christian creators, micro-influencers, and community partnerships for potential collaborations - Assist with identifying and nurturing online community trends and needs (questions, common requests, popular content) - Help brainstorm and support small online campaigns that encourage engagement and build community (giveaways, prayer prompts, and Bible verse quote content) - Participate in in-person meetings and content shoots to support behind-the-scenes and community content creation Who We’re Looking For - Currently enrolled college student eligible for academic credit - Preferred fields of study include Business Administration, International Business, Business Psychology, Marketing, or Communications - Ability to commit up to 5 hours per week - Available for weekly virtual meetings and two in-person meetings per month in the San Diego area - Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with audiences in a kind, on-brand way - Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, with the ability to support engagement across segmented audiences, including Spanish-speaking and faith-based communities - Interest in community-building, digital engagement, and faith-based storytelling - Organized, responsive, and able to follow templates, guidelines, and approvals - Familiarity with Canva, Meta tools, or Asana is a plus Tools You’ll Use - Canva Pro - Asana - Meta Business Suite - Google Workspace

Opportunity Training 

No formal training is required for this role. Interns will participate in a virtual orientation to review expectations, responsibilities, workflows, and tools to support their success in completing identified activities.
