The Lead Athletics Student Assistant (ASA) supports the university Otter Athletics team by helping train and guide other ASA’s. They also assist with organizing and shooting media days with athletics teams, lead social media coverage and assist with strategy, and attend games to capture photography content.

The role also includes organizing, editing, and preparing images for athletics graphics and creating individual player and team graphics. This role will also support additional video related special projects as requested by the Athletics Director or on request.

Projects include the a New Balance collaboration video and new opportunities with the Dance Team, Softball, Baseball, Waterpolo, Track, Men's and Women's Golf.

Opportunity Training 

Training for special projects will be provided during standard office hours with the student then completing tasks independently. Additional resources will also be provided to the student such as equipment, software and tutorials.
