Urban Homestead
Organization Description
Urban Homestead Institute’s mission is to cultivate resilience, environmental stewardship, and food literacy through hands-on urban farming and homesteading education. Rooted in a nearly 40-year living farm in Pasadena, we connect children, families, and communities to regenerative practices that nourish people and land. Through workshops, school programs, and community partnerships, we empower the next generation to grow food, care for ecosystems, and build a more just, sustainable future—one garden at a time.
