The Modesto Focus (a Central Valley Journalism Collaborative project) aims to deliver deep, watchdog-style, and nonprofit, nonpartisan local news to Stanislaus County. Its mission is to shine a light on important local issues, celebrate community culture, and strengthen civic engagement through investigative reporting that connects residents to their communities.
