Opportunity Summary 

Service Learning participants will have the opportunity to engage with Student Engagement and Leadership Development through Associated Students.

6 Service Learner Spots

This team, consisting of other CSUMB Service Learners and other Associated Students volunteers, are responsible for amplifying student voices through our Associated Students Senate and other various boards and committees. Otters-at-Large have the opportunity to collaborate with other campus partners to advocate for student needs. All team members will develop a individualized action plan tailored to the experience of a student's population they feel passionately about enriching.

Opportunity Training 

Professionalism and Leadership training will be provided via online recorded materials and cohort onboarding.

Opportunity Supervision

Students will meet with their Associated Students Representative/Mentor Bi-Weekly, will engage in monthly cohort meetings, and will meet with the SELD Student Coordinator of Governance and Operations regularly.
