Teacher Assistant InternAt — Our Lady of La Vang Catholic Church - Vietnamese Bilingual Religious Education Program

helping create lesson plans, engaging students with what is being taught, creating activities, leading icebreakers, and attending/helping events/ceremonies.

Tasks:

Assist the teacher in preparing and organizing lesson materials
Support students during class activities, discussions, and group work
Reinforce Catholic values, morals, and teachings through example
Assist with classroom management and student behavior
Help set up and clean up the classroom before and after sessions

Training:

Students interested in this position should contact the program coordinator to schedule an appointment. During the meeting, the student will complete an application and participate in a short interview about their Catholic faith journey. The coordinator will then explain the expectations and classroom responsibilities.
