Mission Prep Healthcare
Mission Prep Healthcare, an extension of AMFM, is dedicated to providing compassionate, structured, and individualized care for adolescents and young adults. Our mission is to support clients in developing emotional regulation, life skills, and healthy coping strategies while working toward long-term stability, independence, and personal growth in a safe and supportive environment.
Students will be working primarily with adolescents and other vulnerable populations in a residential therapeutic setting. All interactions with clients, including one-to-one sessions, will occur under the supervision of trained staff or clinical supervisors to ensure safety and compliance with program policies. Students will never be left alone with minors without oversight. Safety protocols include trauma-informed practices, crisis intervention, and CPI techniques, with staff actively monitoring and supporting students during client interactions. Students will also participate in weekly staff supervision trainings and individual weekly check-ins to review interactions, address questions, and reinforce best practices for working with this population. This ensures that students gain meaningful experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety and ethical care.
