Opportunity Summary 

Students can get a small shop feel for what it takes to run a small shop in a tough location.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will have learned how to engage with customers, stock inventory, run a register. They will also be able to learn how to learn the ins and outs of running a small business with stratigic planning

Opportunity Training 

How to support customers shopping experience and curate needs of customers. She will learn to talk with and assist customers to find what they need in shop. Learn how to open and close shop. Register duties. Curating spaces that invite customers to return.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Students will be required to walk upstairs and need handrails. We have alarms throughout shop to alert if any danger should occur. We are upstairs and will discuss safety in case or fire or earthquake.
