Social Media Marketing InternAt — Swapila
This internship is designed to give our interns hands-on experience in social media marketing, audience targeting, and conversion-driven content creation. They will learn how to grow a following on TikTok and use it for a small business, how to drive specific conversions, and see how their work drives conversions to our app in real-time.
Students will acquire experience in digital marketing, content strategy, and platform growth. This includes social media campaign execution, user acquisition funnels, and analytics-driven optimization. They will also learn how to operate autonomously while developing professional communication habits. Most importantly, they will gain exposure to startup operations and business model development, which will teach our interns that they can start their own company or brand and drive conversions on TikTok. It builds confidence.
Training takes place in the first week. Interns are given an extremely specific document that details the onboarding and training. We work out what questions the interns may have through Slack, then monitor their work closely, taking notes on each video they post and starting to build feedback. We meet individually with our interns weekly to check in on progress, questions, concerns, and to realign expectations if needed. Interns are also given multiple TikTok channels that have been actively doing the tasks they are required to complete for months as examples. As said before, we are very hands-on in this process and answer all questions effectively and quickly.
