Teacher Assistant InternAt — Comunidad Cristiana Nueva Vida

Assisting teacher in various tasks, including curriculum selection and working closely to students on a weekly basis.

Tasks:

- Restocking learning material
- Preparing the classroom environment
- Greet children as they come and be available throughout the class
- Work closely with teacher and assisting the teacher
- Be actively present in teacher meetings

Training:

Training includes general employer orientation, weekly schedules one-on-one mentor meetings, job shadowing and reviewing the curriculum.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to assess each child's needs, proactively coming up with solutions, and working in a classroom environment with different teachers.
