Opportunity Summary 

Behavioral therapists help individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities reach their potential by working collaboratively with families, schools, and relevant professionals. By focusing on ways in which people respond to their environment (behavior), we provide opportunities for them to learn in specific and observable ways, leading to a positive outcome (health).

Behavioral therapist will work specifically with client one-to-one, in person. Behavioral therapist will be responsible for running 80% of goals in clients programming. Behavioral therapist will be responsible for ensuring proper documination of sessions ran are up to date.

Tasks:

Training:

Behavioral therapist will be supervised and trained one to one, and in person, per client serviced at a minimum of 1 visit per client per month. Weekly checks in will occur to ensure program fidelity is occurring and to provide behavioral therapist any support necessary. Based on programs ran with clients, literature review and/or occasional in-vivo testing will occur.

Learning Outcomes:

Behavioral therapists will learn what Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is via individualized programs for clients serviced, focusing on each person’s strengths and challenges to provide support during the learning process of their programming. Behavioral therapists will teach clients and family the tools necessary to obtain a better quality of life and to lead a more independent life. Behavioral therapists will contribute their expertise and professionalism to one of the industry’s fastest growing agencies.
