Opportunity Summary 

By participating in the service learning opportunity with the Pride Center at California State University San Marcos, students will be able to apply their learning from the classroom by implementing new programmatic initiatives, expand upon existing programs, support a signature event, or complete new projects to further the reach of the Pride Center. Special projects will be customized for each student and will be completed individually or in pairs depending on the project.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

strategies to apply their classroom learning with their peers how to effectively implement a program/event to educate others on topics within the queer and trans communities how to effectively listen, learn, research, develop, and secure new resources for all students the impact that culture has on one's daily life

Opportunity Training 

For all projects assigned, training and ongoing support will be provided from start to finish. Training will be dependent on the assigned project.
