To empower people with developmental disabilities through service and advocacy.

Health & Safety

Adults with developmental disabilities, may be medically fragile or have behavioral challenges including assaultive behaviors.

Caregivers are generally unsupervised during most hours. Oversight comes through occasional observation of the individual and their home, conversations with individuals and other caregivers.

Confidentiality is important and caregivers should not freely share information, including fuill names or photographs.
Additional requirements and/or considerations
  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Computer Literacy
  • CPR Certification
  • Driver's License
  • First Aid Certification
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Pre-Placement Training
  • Bilingual Desired
