Opportunity Summary 

The Health Intern at Warrior Zone will gain hands-on experience in a private training gym focused on strength, performance, clinical exercise support, and overall wellness. Interns will assist with daily gym operations, support personal training and bootcamp sessions, and help guide members through safe, effective workouts. This role provides exposure to program design, client interaction, injury-aware training, corrective exercise, mobility work, and basic clinical/rehabilitation-based fitness principles. Interns will observe and assist with training modifications for individuals managing injuries, chronic pain, or movement limitations, helping bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance training in a real-world gym setting. Warrior Zone is a veteran-owned, 24/7 private facility, giving interns the opportunity to learn in a results-driven, disciplined, and professional training environment while developing practical skills in health, fitness, and clinical exercise support.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will gain hands-on experience in exercise instruction, movement mechanics, and basic program design. They will learn injury-aware training, corrective exercise fundamentals, and workout modifications for individuals with pain or movement limitations. Interns will also develop client communication skills and gain exposure to private gym operations and professional fitness coaching

Opportunity Training 

Students will receive hands-on training in exercise technique, equipment use, safety procedures, and coaching fundamentals. Training will include observation and guided participation in personal training and bootcamp sessions, instruction on injury-aware and corrective exercise basics, and education on mobility and recovery principles. Interns will also be trained on client interaction, professional gym conduct, and daily private gym operations.
