Santa Catalina School FIRST Robotics Team Mentor - Santa CatalinaAt — Santa Catalina School

Opportunity Summary

A Santa Catalina School FIRST Robotics Team Mentor is an adult volunteer (18+) who guides, supports, and inspires an all-girls team by sharing technical or non-technical expertise to help them develop, build, and compete in FIRST robotics competitions. Mentors foster a positive, safe, and student-led learning environment, promoting core values and STEM skills throughout the season. Mentors play a critical role in transforming the team from a group of students into a collaborative, professional unit, often evolving from a teacher role into a colleague as the season progresses. Mentors work closely with the school-appointed head coach to lead the team through pre-season, build season and team season meetings on campus after school on weekdays and Saturdays, and off campus at weekend competitions.
