Recreation SpecialistAt — City of Fullerton - Parks and Recreation Department

Sophia leads the City of Fullerton's private rentals by communicating with clients, conducting site tours, processing payments, create event layouts, training new staff and ensuring the events run efficiently. She oversees bookings for three different sites that the City of Fullerton offers. Sophia will create cost estimates, confirm bookings and allocate different programs and event as needed.

Training:

Sophia will receive training daily by Full-Time staff that include oversight of her cost estimates, payments, layout and bookings. We will have weekly one on one meetings to go over her progress and will assist in any questions that she has.

Learning Outcome:

1. Will be able to lead a team of up to ten employees
2. Refine skills in cost estimation, contract preparation, payment processing, and booking confirmation to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with City policies.
3. Build structured onboarding and training processes for new staff to ensure consistent service standards, operational knowledge, and event execution quality.
