Opportunity Summary 

This opportunity allows students to utilize their GIS Map production skills in support of service learning programs. Students will be responsible for using data provided to them by CCE to produce a GIS interactive map. This content will then be edited and promoted on various media platforms to increase awareness and engagement with the community.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Develop hands-on skills in map production and editing. Gain experience in community engagement and outreach, learn to tell stories through project development and create compelling content to increase awareness.

Opportunity Training 

Students will learn how to effectively engage with community partners and create impactful media contentStudents will receive guidance in storytelling through visual media and creating compelling contentStudents will have the opportunity to collaborate with classmates and receive feedback on their work
