Club LeaderAt — Woodcraft Rangers
Club Leaders are responsible for ensuring a fun and positive learning environment for club participants and will support clubs of approximately 20 children. Club leaders have the opportunity to grow, connect, play and have the greatest impact on each of their club participants.
The Club Leader position is an on-site position, including attending training at the Woodcraft Rangers main office in Little Tokyo and school sites.
Tasks:
The staff will prepare for program daily to be prepared to provide students with engaging lessons why ensure her space is clean and organized. Having check ins with students regularly will help her create relationships with our students. And ensure to practice emergency drills and any other safety training to learn how to keep the students safe
Training:
Employees have to participate in staff development trainings as required, approximately 15 hours spread out over multiple weekends/intersessional days throughout the spring. Additionally the staff will join weekly staff meetings and occasional regional meetings.
Learning Outcome:
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to foster a safe and welcoming environment for her students, create diverse and inclusive learning activities that make all students feel celebrated and supported, and build strong relationships with our stakeholders by constantly engaging with them and build their trust.
