Cal Poly Pomona’s Center for Community Engagement invites you to join a Day of Service to benefit Semillas Community Center in Pomona. This event will be on Thursday, April 2, 2026, 9:00 AM – 12 PM.

Through this volunteer experience, Broncos will Learn by Doing Good by giving back to our community partner, Semillas Community Center. The services it provides include a child development center, adult tech literacy classes, after-school learning, and horticulture classes. The Center is also in the process of developing even more services, including a full kitchen, internet cafe, design classes, and more! Volunteers will help with repainting the kitchen, weeding, and planting. While most activities require standing, walking, and lifting, there will be alternate activities for those needing accommodations. Join us in serving our community!

Date and Time: Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Location: Semillas Community Center, 810 S White Ave, Pomona, CA 91766
