Opportunity Summary 

This role is designed for learning and exploration, giving you a chance to see how IT keeps a financial business running smoothly. You’ll assist with small projects, test and troubleshoot software, pc, and observe how voip and networks support in real-world operations. Along the way, you’ll shadow experienced professionals, contribute your perspective to improving workflows, and gain hands-on experience in problem-solving and basic tech tasks. This internship is all about curiosity and growth—no heavy responsibilities, just the opportunity to learn how technology shapes the financial services world while building skills that will help launch your career.

Tasks:

During the internship, students will engage in a variety of IT tasks designed to provide real-world, hands-on experience. They will assist with troubleshooting and internal systems, and contribute to small IT projects such as workflow improvements or documentation updates. Interns will also shadow IT staff to observe how technology supports debt consolidation and personal loan operations, while participating in guided coding or scripting exercises to practice technical skills. Additionally, they will have opportunities to analyze workflows and propose minor improvements, applying what they learn under the guidance of mentors. These tasks ensure that interns gain professional experience, develop practical IT skills, and demonstrate their ability to apply knowledge in a financial services environment.

Training:

Students will start with a brief company orientation to learn about the business and IT systems. They will shadow IT professionals, attend weekly mentor check-ins, and participate in hands-on mini-projects and workshops to practice troubleshooting, testing, and basic scripting. Each task comes with clear guidance and work samples, giving interns a real, hands-on experience in IT within a debt consolidation and personal loan environment while building skills for future roles.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to:

Understand IT systems in a financial context .Describe how software's support debt consolidation and personal loan operations.

Apply basic troubleshooting and testing skills . Identify and resolve simple technical issues, and assist in testing software or workflows.

Collaborate in a professional IT environment. Communicate effectively with team members, shadow professionals, and contribute ideas to small projects.

Analyze technology workflows. Observe and suggest improvements to processes that support financial services and customer interactions.

Build foundational technical skills. Gain hands-on experience in problem-solving, basic coding, and IT tasks that prepare for future technology roles.
