Opportunity Summary 

This opportunity will provide a student the opportunity to work with a team of youth soccer players. Observing and experiencing a full time professional coach develop progressive training sessions. Students will have the opportunity to learn from a professional and then implement their learnings with added responsibilities where they can be challenged to lead and progress with their involvement as they understand and formulate their own structured training plans.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will learn how to structure sessions and teaching from physical, technical, tactical and psychosocial dynamics from individual and team evaluation and focuses. Students will learn how to lead and implement a leadership style in the management of a season as well as the dynamic of a team format.

Opportunity Training 

A full onboarding process which will breakdown risk management, protocols and response measures to all responsibility’s .

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Students will be well versed in the physical and mental approach to the support of a youth soccer player. This will include safety protocols for injury as well as a clear verbal and communicative approach to interacting with players.
