InternAt — Dream Center Lake Elsinore
Serving at our Food Pantry twice a week. Sorting food, packing boxes, helping check clients in, and taking food to their cars.
Students will learn how to work well with a team, how to serve others with compassion, and how to interact well with people of all kinds.
Students will be trained on how to complete tasks such as packing boxes, safety training in a warehouse, and training on how to interact with clients.
Students will be required to lift boxes.
POPULATION SERVED: Students may be working with minors, elderly, behaviorally challenged populations or individuals who have a known criminal background or history of violent behavior. We work with an impoverished & vulnerable community and some of our clients do have criminal backgrounds. No one is ever alone with a client.
