Creative Strategy & Brand Storytelling InternAt — Audiosocket
This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience at the intersection of film, music, marketing, and creative strategy within a modern digital media company.
Audiosocket is a music licensing company that provides legally cleared music to filmmakers, creators, brands, and digital platforms. The internship will expose the student to real world creative development processes, audience research, and brand aligned storytelling.
The student will complete two project scopes over the course of the internship, gaining experience in research, concept development, series structuring, and strategic creative thinking.
Tasks:
Conduct research on emerging filmmakers and digital content creators to identify trends, aesthetics, and storytelling patterns.
Develop a structured creative identity framework for graduating creatives, including key archetypes and self-assessment tools.
Create a 10–12 slide digital guide (“A Filmmaker’s Guide to the Afterlife”) to communicate research insights and strategic recommendations.
Design the concept, format, and series treatment for a branded artist discovery series, including episode outlines, season arc, and visual/tonal direction.
Identify target audiences and align creative concepts with brand strategy and market considerations.
Present professional deliverables to mentors, incorporating feedback to refine creative frameworks and series concepts.
Translate research findings into actionable, portfolio-ready outputs demonstrating strategic thinking and professional communication.
Training:
The student will receive hands-on, project-based training through two major creative projects. This includes guidance on audience research, creative strategy, and series development, with context and examples provided for all tasks. Bi-weekly mentor check-ins will ensure ongoing feedback, support skill development, and reinforce professional standards in music licensing, brand storytelling, and media production.

Synthesize research and creative strategy into professional presentation materials, including a digital guide and a formal series treatment suitable for industry use.
Demonstrate an understanding of how music licensing, brand strategy, and digital media storytelling intersect within a commercial creative environment.
