Engineering and AI Development InternAt — Alchemy Live
The Engineering and AI Development Intern will support the technical development of Alchemy Live’s emerging technology platform. This internship provides hands-on experience in software development, artificial intelligence tools, and startup engineering environments.
The intern will collaborate with the engineering team to assist with building application features, exploring AI integrations, testing software functionality, and supporting technical infrastructure. The position is designed for students interested in software engineering, artificial intelligence, and product development.
The intern will gain exposure to real-world product development processes including coding, prototyping, debugging, testing, and working with modern AI development tools and APIs. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the early-stage development of a technology platform while learning how engineering teams operate in a startup environment.
Tasks:
Interns will perform professional and pre-professional engineering tasks including:
• Assisting with coding and development of application features
• Supporting integration of AI tools and APIs into development workflows
• Testing and debugging application functionality
• Assisting with research and experimentation involving AI tools and emerging technologies
• Documenting development processes and technical implementations
• Supporting product prototyping and feature testing
• Participating in engineering discussions regarding system architecture and development solutions
• Conducting literature and technical research related to AI tools and development frameworks
These duties are designed to provide meaningful professional experience in software engineering and product development.
Training:
Students will receive structured mentorship and technical exposure designed to support the learning outcomes of the internship.
Training will include:
• Weekly one-on-one mentor meetings with the engineering supervisor
• Technical guidance on software development and AI integration tools
• Overview and contextualization of assigned technical tasks and product development goals
• Exposure to software testing, debugging, and quality assurance practices
• Review of technical documentation and development resources
• Opportunities to observe real startup engineering workflows and collaborative development processes
Students will also receive feedback on assigned projects to help strengthen their technical and problem-solving skills.
