Deliver direct implementation of ABA services under the direction of a BCBA. Collect data on goals throughout session. Address problem behaviors using positive behavior support techniques developed by a BCBA. Submit timecards and complete clinical notes for each session. Follow all ethical standards related to ABA service delivery and adhere to company polices and procedures.
Tasks:
Deliver direct implementation of ABA services under the direction of a Supervisor/BCBA.
Collect data on goals throughout the session as set forth in the treatment plan.
Work in the home setting with individuals with autism or related disabilities.
Address problem behaviors using positive behavior support techniques developed by a Supervisor and BCBA.
Assist with caregiver support and training as needed.
Arrive on time for scheduled sessions and end sessions punctually.
Submit timecards and complete clinical notes for each session on time per company policy.
Collaborate with Supervisors and BCBAs.
Follow all ethical standards related to ABA service delivery and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Training:
Training will include initial general employer orientation, scheduled 1:1 meetings, scheduled supervision, job shadowing, and additional trainings to review each case and goal (e.g., teaching methods, data collection) individually.
Learning Outcome:
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to collect data on goals with adequate treatment integrity, delivery direct implementation through teaching procedures outlined in the treatment plan, and implement function-based interventions to address problem behaviors.
