Illustration InternAt — Mt. San Antonio College - Studio13

We are seeking a creative and motivated Illustration Intern to support the development of visual concepts and artwork for client-based projects. In this role, the intern will collaborate on client meetings, help develop creative briefs, generate concept-driven ideas, and produce illustrations that can be adapted across print and digital formats. This internship offers hands-on experience in presenting ideas, refining work based on feedback, and creating visually compelling solutions that communicate clear narratives for real-world applications.

Tasks:

The intern will meet with clients to outline project needs, producing presentations that can walk the client clearly through their concepts and ideas, and produce artwork with extended backgrounds to ensure it could be used across all printed and digital assets.

Training:

This internship offers hands-on experience in presenting ideas, refining work based on feedback, and creating visually compelling solutions that communicate clear narratives for real-world applications.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the internship, the student will be able to: meet with clients and produce creative briefs for projects, develop concepts and ideas that present a clear narrative for use in marketing materials, and produce artwork that can be adapted to multiple aspect ratios and formats for use in printed and digital media.
