Become part of the finance and accounting team by undertaking various tasks like bank reconiliations, transaction analysis, updating loan schedules and other ad hoc task assigned by the Controller or the CFO

Tasks:

Bank recconciliations, various rollforwards and account analyses, updating loan schedules and materially aiding the quarterly closing process.

Training:

Since we have small employee headcount, there will be constant mentorshop throughout the process. The intern will meet daily with the Controller and/or the CFO to determine the tasks to be completed for the day and follow up on any outstanding taks. There will be review of each project as completed with immediate feedback and the chance to edit their work.

Learning Outcome:

At the end of this itnernship, the student will be able to apply practical applications of accounting skills learned in the classroom. We expect the intern to know how to perform reconciliations, understand the workings of a finance department and understand how a finance/accounting department works.
