Data Science Analyst InternAt — CANA, LLC
As a Data Science Intern, I will be required to support the Analytics Team and Projects, as assigned, with data entry, development, and testing of technical taskings. I will use my knowledge and skills to perform informed analysis, to support the conduct of studies, and the development of data-driven solutions. I am expected to continue to strengthen my professional skills during this time and to seek instructional and mentorship opportunities as available. This requires effective continuous communication and organizational skills as well as practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
I'm hoping to learn alot throughout my internship, I want to expand my problem solving skills further and truly become a great engineer. They told me I will be getting my own projects, not just code reviews and stuff, so I'm genuinely excited to get hands on with projects at this scale, and grow my skills in AI and agentic workflows, cloud hosting, and data science and data engineering. I have learned about AI through my classes but never at this level, I'm really excited to learn how to integrate agents into your workflow to help solve complex problems. Beyond just skills though I want to use this opportunity to learn from great engineers and learn how to optimize all of my own day-to-day processes to become the best possible engineer I can be. This will be my first experience in a corporate setting so I'm really excited to take the responsibility and learn to not just be an effective engineer but an effective teammate in a collaborative environment. Beyond this I hope to seek mentorship from those at my job to help give me all the resources available.
