Staff AccountantAt — Next Construction Inc
The Staff Accountant supports the day-to-day accounting operations of a general contracting company. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close, and supporting job cost accounting. Key duties include processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and general ledger accounts, tracking project costs, and assisting with financial reports. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and familiar with construction accounting practices, including job costing and contract billing. A degree in Accounting or related field and prior experience in the construction industry are preferred.
Tasks:
- Daily transaction categorization
- Invoicing (include creating, reminding and collecting)
- Billing (include creating, preparing payments, record)
- Adhoc projects presentation
- Progress accounting
Training:
- Daily one-on-one training with any questions or concerns.
- Routinely present adhoc project under manager's supervision and support.
