Opportunity Summary 

The focus of the level 1 ASVS assessment is “Security Hygiene” and not a comprehensive analysis of the security posture of a product. The intern will work with the SkyCommand team to complete the assessment with a focus on the Open World Application Security Project (OWASP) Top 10 vulnerability list which will result in a baseline security report. This work supports Hunter’s dedication to improving their security posture and our efforts to meet compliance requirements regarding regular security evaluations as laid out within the CRA.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

I expect to learn how to build Azure DevOps pipelines which rely on, but run independently of, product teams’ pipelines; integrating SBOM generating tools into pipelines; working with SharePoint APIs; cross-team collaboration; time management; project prioritization; risk assessment; basic threat evaluation.
