Opportunity Summary 

The Business Operations & Analytics Intern will participate in a structured, supervised internship designed to provide hands-on experience in business operations, financial tracking, and data-informed decision-making within a creative business environment.

This role emphasizes supporting operational efficiency, budgeting, and performance analysis while supporting merchandise operations and overall business growth. The intern will work closely with the CEO and contribute to ongoing projects under supervision and receive regular guidance and feedback. 

This internship is designed to support academic learning outcomes related to business operations, supply chain management, and analytics. 

Tasks:

-Track merchandise costs, pricing, and revenue using spreadsheets
-Monitor and help maintain target profit margins (30% or higher)
-Assist in updating budget tracking systems
-Research and compare vendors (pricing, quality, turnaround time)
-Analyze sales performance
-Support decision-making by providing organized data and recommendations

training:

Student will receive a structured onboarding and ongoing training to support learning outcomes. Training will begin with a general orientation, including an overview of the organization, brand, merchandise operations, and business goals.

The intern will receive training on:
-Budget tracking and profit margin calculations
-Use of tools such as Excel or Google Sheets for financial tracking
-Vendor sourcing and comparison methods
-Operational workflows and merchandise production processes

The supervisor will provide guidance on:
-Interpreting financial data
-Identifying cost-saving opportunities
-Organizing and presenting business insights

The intern will participate in weekly one-on-one meetings with the supervisor to review progress, receive feedback, and reflect on skill development.
