Measures for this opportunity include following all clinic, home-health, and telepractice safety protocols, HIPAA confidentiality requirements, and infection control procedures. Interns will receive guidance on emergency procedures, documentation standards, mandated reporting responsibilities, and maintaining professional conduct with clients and families. Supervisors will provide support regarding personal safety, professional boundaries, and secure virtual service delivery when applicable. All SLPA interns will work under the supervision of licensed clinicians and are expected to practice within their approved scope of training, responsibilities, and competency levels to ensure safe and ethical service delivery.
