Manager On Duty and Cash Room AssitantAt — Sun Shops Inc.
Opportunity to work in a fast paced beach retail company while experiencing retail store operations. In addition students will have the opportunity to shadow and participate in upper management interactions, operations and meetings. Furthermore the student will have the opportunity to participate and observe the inner workings of the companies cash room operations.
Customer Service, Employee engagement, Company cash flow, de-escalation techniques, multi store management systems, workplace violence prevention, emergency action plans, general business and business finance operations.
Student will undergo a 3 hour orientation period relative to Company policies and guidelines pertaining to worksite safety, guest experience, sexual harassment, cash handling and retail store operations. Student will then undergo 3 days of basic store training, hands on, with a Store Manager. Student will then undergo training with a Manager on Duty as well as training with the Company Cash Room Manager.
Required to be able to lift up to 50lbs, wear closed toed shoes, climb stairs. Student will undergo Sexual harassment training, de-escalation techniques, shoplifting observance, and emergency evacuation plans
