Opportunity Summary
This internship is geared toward students seeking careers in physical therapy or athletic training. We specialize in sports and orthopedics, but also have experience with vertigo/balance disorders, neurologic conditions, autoimmune conditions, chronic pain, and headaches/migraines.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Students will learn about the most common sports injuries and orthopedic surgeries, manual therapy, exercise prescription, and clinic management.
Opportunity Training
Students will be trained for administrative and office duties (scheduling patients, cleaning, and organizing the clinic), exercise supervision, exercise progression/regression, use of modalities, simple assessment tools (such as measuring joint angles and MMTs)
