Opportunity Summary 

Job Description

The primary objective of this candidate is to support end-to-end inventory health initiatives across the Military Flight Control Division by reviewing inventory performance and controls, improving data quality, and partnering with Engineering and Planning to reduce excess, low/no-usage, and obsolete stock. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze low-usage/obsolete stock against historical consumption to determine inventory strategies.

  • Update item master parameters to align with ABCxyz/RRS strategies.

  • Establish a Standard Procedure for Excess and Obsolete (E&O) review to support inventory health initiatives.

  • Establish controls around low-usage, excess and obsolete inventory. 

  • Identifying reduction opportunities with Engineering/Planning (substitution, redesign, rework, repair, transfer, scrap). 

  • Analyze inventory between multi-site stock to determine consumption opportunities.

  • System and Item Master Clean up to improve reporting structure and data integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or advanced degree program Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PBI.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
