Aid in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients under direct physical therapist supervision.  Basic clinic set up and maintenance. 

Tasks:

Greeting patients and directing toward treatment area. Per PT instruction applying appropriate starting modality (heat, exercise). Able to communicate to PT any and all activity performed in the clinic. Able to set up appropriate exercises as indicated by PT treatment program. Able to demonstrate proficiency in clinic cleanliness and sanitization

Training:

Under direct PT supervision and instruction for hot pack, and electrical stimulation set up per appropriate parameters. Instructed on PT facility exercise equipment and set up. Instructed on basic exercises w/ direct PT supervision during implementation. Instructed on clinic inspection and sanitization.

Learning Outcome:

1. Aide able to greet and facilitate pt back to treatment table abiding by HIIPA guidelines
2. Aide proficient at basic modality set following PT instruction
3. Aide proficient at basic exercise set up based on PT plan and PT supervision.
