Opportunity Summary 

We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and motivated Social Media Intern to help share the stories of our amazing students, programs, events, and community impact. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a college student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field.

Tasks:

The intern will gain hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing, content creation, community engagement, and social media strategy while making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with special needs.

Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
Assist with photography and video capture during classes, rehearsals, performances, and special events.
Design graphics, reels, stories, and promotional materials.
Write captions, blog posts, newsletters, and marketing copy.
Research social media trends and recommend content ideas.
Help grow online engagement and community awareness.
Assist with fundraising campaigns, donor recognition, and special events.
Track social media analytics and prepare monthly performance reports.
Support community outreach and partnership initiatives

Trainig:

Initial meeting with Executive Director to learn about our mission, program and community impact. There would also be a review of company branding and communication standards.
Weekly meeting with director for continuous training.
