Opportunity Summary 

Join a growing home care agency and gain hands-on experience in healthcare administration, care coordination, recruiting, operations, and client services. This remote internship provides exposure to the day-to-day functions of a healthcare organization, including client intake, caregiver support, scheduling, community outreach, and business operations. Students will work directly with leadership on meaningful projects while developing professional skills applicable to careers in healthcare management, public health, human services, and business administration.

Opportunity Training 

Students will receive structured onboarding and ongoing mentorship from the Administrator and management team. Training will include HIPAA and confidentiality requirements, professional communication, customer service, healthcare administration, recruiting and hiring processes, client intake procedures, scheduling and workforce coordination, marketing and community outreach, quality assurance, documentation standards, and the use of business software and technology platforms. Students will also receive project-specific training, regular feedback, and professional development opportunities to support their academic and career goals within the healthcare industry.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

This is primarily a remote internship. Students will receive training on confidentiality, HIPAA awareness, cybersecurity best practices, professional conduct, and the secure handling of sensitive information. Students will be expected to use secure communication methods and comply with all organizational policies regarding privacy, data protection, and workplace professionalism.
