Organization Description

Bithiah's Family Services aims to provide support to families and youth experiencing foster, kinship, adoption, and vulnerability. Bithiah's utilizes a trauma informed approch across all its programs. Programs include: support groups, tangible supplies, certification hours for resource parents, trainings, workshops, court-approved reunification classes and support, transitional-age housing, mental health support, food pantry, and community events.

Health & Safety

Foster and system-impacted youth and families, vulnerable women, transitional-aged youth, community member experincing food insecurity, and the unhoused.

Students may be on site without a supervisor present.

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • CPR Certification
  • Must be 18 or older
  • POPULATION SERVED: Students will be working with "behaviorally challenged" populations.
  • SUPERVISION: Students will be supervised less than 50% of the time.
  • SUPERVISION: Students' supervisor be responsible for overseeing more than 8 people.
