CFFSBC hosts events throughout the year that bring our community together -- from intimate
office gatherings to large signature celebrations. Hospitality and Events Support students will
play a meaningful role in how we welcome and serve our community, gaining practical
experience in nonprofit event coordination and community engagement.

Learning opportunities include:

• Setting up and preparing our office space for meetings and community events
• Assisting with event logistics including signage, seating, materials, and refreshments
• Greeting and supporting guests during events
• Supporting larger signature events such as galas, community workshops, and convenings

This placement is ideal for students interested in nonprofit operations, community engagement,
public relations, or event coordination.
