Opportunity Summary 

Facilitate the distribution of free MiniNature Reserve Kits all across California. Each kit comes with native plants and educational resources and are given to guerrilla gardeners, schools, small businesses, and community spaces. By the end of this opportunity, you will be able to say "I helped give away 2,400 native plants to people in need all over California. And now there are 200 more native gardens in the world."

How to coordinate

Opportunity Training 

The first 14 days will consist of training to get the student familiar with the IT softwares necessary for processing, evaluating, and selecting recipients. We will also give them a list of contacts of partnering nurseries and key personnel. We will also work with them to create a rubric for selecting recipients.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

If you come to our Nursery location, there are raw materials used in horticulture such as perlite. Safety data sheets are available.
