Program Information

The intern will assist in the Foster Visitation Center by supporting supervised and monitored visits between children in foster care and their families. Responsibilities include helping facilitate a safe, supportive, and structured visitation environment, observing family interactions, documenting visit observations, communicating progress and concerns with social workers, and providing general administrative and program support as needed.

Health & Safety

Throughout the internship, the intern will work under the direct supervision of experienced staff and will never be left alone with children or families. The intern will receive individualized, one-on-one training and ongoing guidance to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to perform assigned responsibilities while ensuring compliance with agency policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards.
