Opportunity Summary 

The Historical Society of Long Beach offers detail-oriented students the opportunity to work with special historical collections and preservation.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students who participate in an internship position with the Historical Society of Long Beach will learn basic professional standards of archival work, historical research, community engagement, and exhibition planning.

Opportunity Training 

The student will be responsible for reviewing literature and resources from professional organizations, and on-site training in professional handling and cataloging standards.
